Somewhere you choose the rewards

Our Values

Mouchel has a simple but powerful set of shared values that guide what we do and how we do it; these help us to work together more effectively and create a sense of us all belonging to one organisation. Our values are more than just words – they underpin the way that we manage the business.

We Value:

Respect
We recognise diversity and the talents and aspirations of others, and don’t dismiss their views.

Responsibility
We keep the promises we make to colleagues and clients, and don’t make excuses.

Teamwork
We support each other, share ideas and don’t accept behaviour that excludes colleagues.

Integrity
We treat people fairly, are open and honest in everything we do and don’t accept hidden agendas.

Innovation
We want to be inventive and imaginative, and don’t allow convention or dullness to get in our way.

Delivery
We are responsive and enthusiastic, and don’t accept failure to perform.

Rewards and Benefits

We’re expecting a lot from our new graduates, so you’ll be pleased to learn that there’ll be some impressive rewards along the way. Because nowadays you can choose exactly how you want most things served up, even down to your lunchtime sandwich, we let our employees choose how to receive the more important things too, like benefits. That’s why we’ve introduced ‘Flex’, a flexible rewards scheme that allows you to pick and choose the lifestyle, health and insurance benefits that suit you best. You can even opt to buy more benefits in return for less take-home pay once you’ve fulfilled your allowance. And all this is on top of an extremely competitive salary.

Our approach to Corporate Social Responsibility

Providing benefit to local communities - through, for example, safer roads, better schools, cleaner water and less pollution - is central to the work that Mouchel does. By encouraging our employees to engage, either by raising funds or as volunteers in social, environmental and economic initiatives in the communities within which they work, we believe that we are bringing further benefits to those communities, to the voluntary and charity organisations, and to our other stakeholders.

This year we focused on Carbon Footprinting, and employees were challenged to adopt low-carbon lifestyles, both in the office and at home. The results of the competition showed that, on average, employees were able to reduce their carbon emissions per head by around 40% through adopting low-carbon lifestyle changes, such as cycling to work and being vigilant with energy usage (both in the office and at home).

During the last year, we became members of Business in the Community (BITC). Working with BITC, we have developed a new community involvement policy, encouraging our employees to form long-term relationships with local charities and focus both volunteering and fundraising on benefiting the local community.

In recognition of the work that we are doing to take account of our economic, social and environmental impacts, Mouchel has recently been confirmed as a constituent member of the FTSE4Good Index. The FTSE4Good Index series is one of the indices produced by the FTSE Group and provides information to investors about companies that meet globally recognised social responsibility standards.
