The Mouchel Energy team offers design consultancy and project management services to a range of UK and international clients in the gas, energy and utility infrastructure sectors.
With concerns over the environmental impact of other fuels and a growing economy, demand for gas and renewable energy projects is increasing every year.
We're helping clients such as E.On, National Grid, Excellerate Energy, RWE NPower and Siemens to meet these growing energy demands by providing a range of engineering design, consultancy and project management services that help them invest wisely in their infrastructure.
Recent Mouchel Energy project examples include the design and development of a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) import jetty and terminal in Teeside for Excellerate Energy, the development of pipeline infrastructure for a major new gas fired power generation project at the Isle of Grain in Kent for E.On, the ongoing reinforcement and upgrading of pipelines and plant throughout the UK for National Grid, and the development of new and innovative renewable power plant for a range of entrepreneurial clients. International opportunities, including in the UAE, are also a growing market for Mouchel Energy.

Land & Environment
Our Land & Environment Business Unit offers services that enable public and private sector clients to deliver and manage land use and development projects.
Comprising almost 300 land referencers, engineers and scientists, the Business Unit boasts an impressive portfolio of projects in the transport, government, regeneration, infrastructure and energy sectors; giving you a wide range of diverse and challenging work.
With a growing focus on global issues and complex changes in legislation driven by the EU, the work of our Land & Environment division increasingly overlaps with our expertise in other areas.
For example, a recent housing development near Altringham saw our teams regenerate a river in collaboration with Water, and our Highways division also worked on the development of new roads for the area.
Typical projects include carrying out Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), remediating brownfield land and designing earthworks and foundations. We also provide inception – to – implementation land services and have contributed to the success of key projects for the UK’s most significant players in the transport, infrastructure and development fields.
Flood defence is another key issue. In Northallerton, North Yorkshire, we recently completed an EIA for a wide ranging package of measures to alleviate the impact of serious flooding.
The nature of our work means long-term agreements are commonplace, such as those we have with 90% of the UK’s Regional Development Agencies.
