The Application Process

We accept applications all year round.

Once registered, your user name and password will allow you to save your application form and re-visit it before finally submitting.

The application form is very comprehensive and gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and aptitudes. When giving examples please ensure they highlight your specific contributions.

As well as filling in your personal details and information about your education and work experience, you’ll be asked to complete some competency-based questions.

You will receive an email acknowledgement of your application within 48 hours.

We will personally screen every application, and we aim to respond to you within 7 working days.
The Selection Process

If you’re successful at this initial stage, you may be sent some online reasoning tests depending on the specific role you have applied for.

For successful candidates, this will be followed by a first round competency based interview which will take place regionally.

The final stage of the process is an assessment centre. We will try to offer you dates & locations that suit you.

Assessment centres will run between November 2007 and July 2008. Assessment centres are a full day and include interviews, group exercises and case studies. It is your opportunity to meet members of the business and ask any questions that you may have about working for Mouchel.

Throughout the recruitment process, we’ll be looking for things such as; good business awareness, a flair for generating and communicating ideas, and the ability to work well as part of a team to deliver results. We’re also interested in hiring graduates who can think around a problem and have the drive and ambition to make an impact on the business.
Please note, for apprentices we have a reduced selection process involving an interview and a numeracy test. There is no assessment centre.
